Bundle
The accompanying bundle
was yet to finalised. We were sent the following:
Pre-OS floppy discs
containing drivers for both the VIA on-chip and Silicon Image SATA
controllers is a vital inclusion as it allows you to install an OS on a
virgin SATA drive. Further SATA goodies in the form of dual grey
connecting cables and SATA-to-MOLEX plugs are a necessity, too. An
interesting inclusion was the usual GAME port with a singe SATA port on
the same panel. Maybe for use with an external SATA drive, who knows. A
custom I/O shield and the driver disk containing all the various needed
drivers was present. The packaging and content may change over the next
few weeks, though.
