System Setup

I had a think about what I should benchmark the Asus against in this review and then it hit me. I'll just take the lazy reviewers way out and use the same numbers I'd run for the XP3200+ review which the board did sterling service in.

That means pretty much the same graphs as that review which featured the nForce2 Ultra 400 up against Canterwood and 3.0C P4 with some XP3000+ numbers on an ABIT NF7-S for good measure.

So if you've read my XP3200+ article and digested the performance figures, you may as well skip to the end of the article for the conclusions, you wont see much new until then. In an effort to expedite this review off my pile, I'll leave more thorough performance analysis of the board for an upcoming monster article featuring a LOT of KT400A. Look out for that when I dig my way out from under that pile.

So here goes with the same stuff as the XP3200+ review but with a different slant on the commentary to be more AMD specific. Anyway, here's the test setup with some brutal cut and paste.
