The Tests
In an effort to fairly compare the boards we used the same exactly the same components in each setup. The tests were run three times, the lowest and highest results were discarded to ensure our results were as accurate as possible.
Each board was scored with all the components at stock speed and with the drivers at default. We then added our results with the MSI 655 MAX overclocked so that you can see the true potential of the board.
It should be noted that at stock the MSI 655 automatically placed our Ram at 200 MHz (DDR400) where as the Granite Bay boards ran it at 133 MHz (DDR266). As this is a feature of the SIS chipset and we therefore did not change the settings.
