 As always, benchmarks were run 3 times and the upper and lower results discarded to leave the median result for the graphs.  If any result differed by more than 5% from the other 2, all 3 results were discarded and a fresh 3 results were obtained.  Excepting SETI due to the time taken to complete this benchmark.
 
 The MSI is up against another nForce2 in the form of the Asus A7N8X with XP2700+ and a pair of Intel based behemoths including our recent 3.06GHz test rig and a 2.8 with RDRAM.
 
 The processor disparity looks ominous on the surface since the MSI can't obviously hope to keep up with the XP2700+ in the Asus but with a little brain power you can judge performance scaling and I'll talk about that as we go along.
