Benchmarks II
Moving on to gaming and 3DMark 2001SE. With its reliance on efficient AGP implementation and lots of bandwidth, it makes for a reasonably good test of a system's true gaming worth. Benchmarked, as always, at 1024x768x32
Almost breaking the 14k barrier with a stock XP2400+ and R9700 Pro indicates that this potential combination, should you decide to venture this way, will keep your games running smoothly for some time yet. If you want to see how the SOYO scored its marks, head over here.
On to Serious Sam: The Second Encounter. Benchmarked using normal settings and the system-taxing Valley of the Jaguar Timedemo in the publicly available demo. 1024x768x32 Normal settings.

Moving on to Comanche 4, a benchmark that AMD-based systems have never done all that well on. Benchmarked at 1024x768x32.
Even though the benchmark scores average around the 50fps mark, that doesn't tell the whole story. There are times in this helicopter flyby when the action slows to a crawl. Massive amounts of geometry, on occasions, pulverised even these high-end systems.
