BIOS and Manual

The BIOS is your stock nForce fare but with some concession to adjustment of performance parameters such as front side bus frequency and memory timings. nForce boards haven't traditionally clocked that well in terms of front side bus adjustment (nForce2 hopes to change that perception in the eyes of the tweaker) and the memory timing adjustment is usually limited to SPD timings and a BIOS chosen set of aggressive settings.

On this board you get adjustable Vcore, memory voltage adjust and some limited adjustment of AGP settings including voltage. Makes a change from the settings available on ABIT nForce offerings.

Interesting to note that the BIOS also supports the S4 (suspend to disk) ACPI power state which is nice to see since you usually only see support for S1 and S3 modes on recent boards. Of course you need full hardware support from your add-in devices and drivers to completely support dropping in and out of some of the states but the BIOS support exists so you have a base to build on.

Layout wise it's usual AWARD fare and not like the BIOS ASUS force the world to suffer through. If you must adjust a BIOS setting, at least it should be easy and it is on the Leadtek.

As far as the manual goes, it's the same quality of manual that I saw with their SiS735 based board so no problems as far at that's concerned. If there was a translation to English at some point I can't spot it and all the information you are likely to need from the manual is clear and easy to find. Top marks as far as the manual is concerned and presentation overall.
