• 1 AGP4X, 5 PCI (32-bit, 33MHz) slots
As you can see, broadly similar to the EPoX 4G4A+ with onboard Ethernet, audio and graphics but only 5 PCI slots versus the 6 on the EPoX.
No support for DDR333/PC2700 but not unexpected since Intel haven't validated the standard for use with their desktop DDR chipsets yet. Memory wise, it's worth noting that the DIMM slots aren't independant with their own banks on the GMCH and that DIMM2 and DIMM3 share a bank for a maximum of 2GB memory. Also, the board doesn't support ECC memory or registered memory modules so this is squarely a board for the enthusiast and overclocker.
So broadly similar to the EPoX in terms of features, ABIT's Softmenu III performance adjustment in the BIOS and Ethernet and audio which we always like to see making an appearance.
Let's take a look at layout next.
