Memory, 2D, and SATA performance

Memory bandwidth and latency

Sisoft Sandra 2010 (16.26) - aggregate bandwidth
Gigabyte EX58-UD5ASUS P6T SE
19.7219.65

Sisoft Sandra 2010 (16.26) - memory latency
Gigabyte EX58-UD5ASUS P6T SE
7675

Both boards use the same memory and timings, so the lack of difference isn't surprising.

2D performance

HEXUS.PiFast - calculation to 10m places
Gigabyte EX58-UD5ASUS P6T SE
31.631.53

CINEBENCH R10 64-bit - multi-CPU render
Gigabyte EX58-UD5ASUS P6T SE
1581515725

The Gigabyte board has a consistent lead in the CINEBENCH R10 64-bit test. You wouldn't be able to visually discern the difference, though.

SATA

HD Tach v3.0.4.0 SATA average read speed
Gigabyte EX58-UD5ASUS P6T SE
212.5208.7

HD Tach v3.0.4.0 SATA burst speed
Gigabyte EX58-UD5ASUS P6T SE
229.1232.8

The same SATA controllers on both boards mean that disk performance is very similar. Wondering why the numbers are so high? We're using a Kingston SSDNow V+ 128GB SSD.
