Intel's X4500HD IGP doesn't do too badly with the DX9 codepath but performance nosedives as DX10 is activated.

NVIDIA has a rich heritage of GPU design and is able to correctly render the DX10 test, albeit at a slightly jerky framerate.

We tried running Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts with DX9 and 4xAA enabled. The MSI GeForce 9300 returned a score of 24.67fps. Intel's IGP failed to run the test.

The GeForce 9300 is over 5x faster than the X4500HD in Enemy Territory: Quake Wars! Scary, huh?

Remember that this is the slower MCP7A SKU: the GeForce 9400 is, on paper, some 25 per cent faster.
