Bundle and warranty

Items
  • Drivers and utilities disk - which alongside storage, network and audio drivers includes PC-cillin, Pro Magic 6 Plus system recovery program, Imageit 3, system backup utility MyGuard, Winflash, AWD flash, cool & quiet, CBROM - allows you to customise the BIOS boot image.
  • Black flat IDE ribbon cable
  • Black SATA cable
  • Backplate
  • Sapphire case badge

There are few accessories bundled with the board.

The driver CD includes a few additional applications to help with backing-up and restoring your system, as well as flashing your BIOS.

High-definition video playback software is sadly lacking, which means an additional outlay to enable it on the board. Power DVD, perhaps?

No DVI-to-VGA adapter is included, but as the board provides both a DVI and VGA connection it can be forgiven. The lack of a DVI-to-HDMI adapter is quite disappointing though, somewhat restricting the board's usefulness as a media centre source.

Warranty

Assuming Sapphire has not changed things since we looked at previous products, then the PURE RS780G comes with a two-year warranty.

Claims in the first year are handled by the reseller. Thereafter, they're handled by a UK-based service centre.
