In our SATA and USB testing all four boards perform virtually identically.

As noted earlier, the FireWire connection on our DX48BT2 wouldn't recognise either our standard Akasa USB/FireWire combo enclosure or a Western Digital MyBook 2TB enclosure, hence the lack of results.

Both NVIDIA boards provide superior FireWire performance than the LT-X48-TR2, but that's more down to the controller than the chipset, as neither feature inherent support.
