EPoX EP-9NPA+ SLI MotherboardTalking to some NVIDIA marketing people a short while back, I was taken aback to learn that NVIDIA had shipped over 1 million SLI-capable chipsets since the nForce4 SLI's launch just over 18 months ago. That's over 50,000 a month, so there's a lot of folk out there that are interested in what SLI can do for their gaming.
Intel's LGA775 processors can now enjoy the benefits of NVIDIA's SLI technology, yet, like most, AMD Athlon 64 S939 CPUs provide, at default speeds at least, the better platform on which to base an SLI rig around. With that being the case, motherboard manufacturers are only too keen to release S939 SLI boards, often with more than a single model for any given company.
Taking that into accout, it was high time that we took a look at an SLI motherboard from EPoX. THe EP-9NPA+ SLI awaits...
