Overclocking

We limit our overclocking tests to 1.35V in order to protect the hardware. Keeping to the voltage ceiling, we were able to achieve 5GHz on all cores with memory operating at 3,800MHz. This is, however, a board designed for the 'nutters' out there, and if you're willing to pour more voltage into the CPU, there is scope to go higher. We managed 5.1GHz at 1.37V, but 5.2GHz at 1.45V proved too hot to handle for our Corsair Hydro Series cooler.
