Starting off with a look at memory performance. MSI's P4N Diamond is competitive with a well-tuned Intel i925ZE board immediately. Note how the SiS656-powered ECS PF88 Extreme, run with identical timings and components, already falls some way behind.

Latency analysis shows it to be on a par with the i925XE, which is no mean feat. The SiS 656 northbridge looks abysmal here, and the nForce4 SLI AMD-based board runs out the winner, thanks to the FX-53's on-chip memory controller.

Pifast results are pretty even between nForce4 SLI I.E and i925XE chipsets, again. NVIDIA's QuickSync and DASP technologies are obviously working well.
