Gaming performance - Far Cry

Lastly, Far Cry, run in very high quality mode. Interesting results. SLI'd Ultras are slower than the single-card variety until the extra fillrate power counts. The green and black graph lines highlight who's on top.

It doesn't matter if it's Intel or AMD nForce4 SLI at 1280x1024 4xAA 8x AF.

It bears repeating that there's nothing intrinsically wrong with MSI's SLI performance; it's right where it should be. The fact that it's slower, at lower resolutions, than an equivalent AMD setup is down to better gaming performance from equivalent S939 CPUs - nothing else.
