Ryzen has come a long way in terms of being a solid gaming CPU. It's AMD's best yet, though it still can't quite manage to match the Core i7-8700K. Will you notice a difference between 178fps and 166fps? We very much doubt so, and going by other results, the gap reduces to practically zero at 4K. The X470 is a good gaming platform.
