Benchmarks: Power Consumption

Power consumption is in line with our expectations of the X299 platform. The more powerful Core i9 chip pushes power draw beyond the 200-watt mark when encoding video so you'll want to employ a good-quality cooler. Our Noctua NH-D15S was able to keep CPU temperature below 70°C on the Asus Prime X299-A.
