Benchmarks: Power Draw and Battery Life
Power consumption is understandably high but well within the remit of the dual 330W supplies. It's no surprise to find that battery life isn't a strong point. Our standard test entails looping a high-def video with all wireless radios disabled and screen brightness set to 50 per cent. MSI's dual GTX 1080 monster managed to keep going for just over two hours, but if you're brave enough to game away from a power outlet you can expect that figure to drop dramatically.
