Benchmarks: Temperature and Noise
Gaming laptops frequently struggle to deliver a well-balanced fan profile, and the dual exhausts implemented in the Clevo P640RE chassis appear to be particularly erratic. The laptop can appear practically silent at one point, it can then quickly become quite loud, and at times the fans suddenly turn off.
Noise levels are therefore frustratingly inconsistent, and the same can be said for core temperatures. The CPU, and subsequently the chassis, gets quite warm when running flat-out. The GPU, meanwhile, is kept to 60ºC when gaming at the expense of boisterous fan noise.
