An SSD is a must for a modern-day laptop, we feel, but not all drives are created equal. In our tests, Kingston's 240GB SSDNow mS200 mSATA drive offered modest read and write speeds of 435MB/s and 222MB/s, respectively. Such figures are off the pace of all the other laptops in our line-up, and though any SSD is better than no SSD, the Kingston drive is far from the quickest.
