Power consumption is in line with expectations for a laptop of this ilk, and unsurprisingly, the 60Wh battery doesn't last a particularly long time.
To gauge real-world longevity, we loop a 720p movie clip with 50 per cent screen brightness and all wireless radios disabled. In this scenario, the laptop fell into hibernation in under four hours. Hardly a problem for gamers who will be mains-attached, but if you need maximum mobility, this may not be the laptop for you.
