UT2003, Q3, Call of Duty

Further mobile excellence is to be found in our high-detail UT2003 custom test that takes in the Antalus flyby.

But our subsystem test, which is UT2003 run in bot match mode, shows just how good a mobile Athlon 64 Model 3xxxx processor is. The Razor does well to match Rock's 3.2GHz P4 performance.

This is the first time that the MR9700 has been bested by another laptop's adapter. We reckon Call of Duty's high-resolution textures swamp the card's 64MB video memory. This is where a 128MB MR9700 would come in handy.

About par for the course in Quake III. Almost half the framerate in battery mode shows how responsive the game is to changes in subsystem speed, and just how far mobile graphics adapters have come in recent years.
