CINEBENCH 2003, picCOLOR, DivX, WAV encoding
More multi-threaded goodness at work in CINEBENCH 2003's CPU benchmark. There's no single-core Pentium M around that could match a Yonah T2500's performance here.
The same can be said for picCOLOR, an image-analysis program that is, evidently, multi-threaded.
So is the latest iteration of the popular DivX codec, and encoding a 416MB DV file in conjunction with VirtualDub is a breeze.
The last of our quartet, WAV encoding, is also multi-threaded. But you could have guessed that by the results, huh?
