See no need for a 16:10 WQXGA display? Then the Legion 5 offers practically all of the performance of the Pro at a lower cost.
The one caveat to that is that Legion 5 ships with its Nvidia GPU capped to 130W, compared to 140W for the Legion 5 Pro. With the latter, in performance mode, we were able to increase the 3DMark Time Spy score to 10,455, while the 10W deficit on Legion 5 results in a maximum score of 10,333.
