Benchmarks: FHD Gaming
We've introduced a couple of new games to our benchmark suite, while keeping Final Fantasy in place as a point of reference for older results.
We're surprised to find that the Katana GF66 isn't quicker than the GF65 Thin by a meaningful amount. Indeed, the latter, with 10th Gen CPU and 75W RTX 3060 has the edge in most titles and we're putting this down to throttling on both CPU and GPU. Digging into our log files reveals that the 75W GPU implementation in the GF65 Thin was able to average a speed of 1,470MHz when gaming. Katana's 85W setup hovered closer to the 1,400MHz mark, albeit on a hotter day.
