Storage evaluation

Straight-line reading speed is excellent, thanks to a couple of 60GB 7,200RPM 2.5-inch drives pre-configured in RAID0. a bust speed of 93.6MB/s is pretty sharp, as well. Imagine what 2x100GB 7,200RPMs would score. Graphs only tell one so much of the story. The XTI 3.8 was significantly zippier in Windows than Dell's XPS Inspiron Gen 2, which shipped with a single 100GB 4,200RPM hard drive. Dell does offer a plethora of other storage options, however.

Nothing much wrong with access latency.
