Cryptography performance, as you would expect, is boosted by having a faster CPU.



The Rockdirect XTI 3.6 was already the fastest in our KribiBench test. The XTI 3.8 simply cements that position.



3.8GHz of Pentium 4 570 power cannot even come close to a Pentium M 770's performance in our raytracing test, let alone an Athlon 64 4000's. Performance is dictated by core architecture. The Pentium 4 is good at some things and mediocre at others, especially FPU-related tasks.
