Benchmarks: CPU

Intel's Core i7-9750H is the CPU of choice for high-end gaming laptops in 2019, though as we know, the level of real-world performance can vary depending on a system's cooling capabilities. GX502's Active Aerodynamic System does prove useful in the benchmarks, with the Asus machine managing to maintain high frequencies that result in chart-topping PiFast and Cinebench results.

An impressive start, but every i7-9750H laptop we've tested will throttle eventually, and the GX502 is no exception. During the more demanding HandBrake test, CPU frequency eventually dials back to around 3.2GHz after prolonged load. Still, this is a promising start.
