Computer displays have progressed so quickly in recent years that a 1080p IPS panel can be considered somewhat simple by today's standards. The Asus screen isn't outstanding, but out-the-box colour accuracy is decent, viewing angles are excellent, and the matte finish does a good job of keeping unwanted reflections at bay.
