Benchmarks: Display Brightness

Wide viewing angles and good out-the-box accuracy are the plus points, but the 1080p screen leaves plenty to be desired in other areas. Brightness is okay but not exceptional, while black levels and contrast ratio are well off the pace. We've also noticed a peculiarity in our review sample in that the display practically switches off when brightness is lowered to the minimum - that's something we hope will be fixed through software.
