Benchmarks: Temperature and Noise
Cooling was always going to be one of the biggest question marks, but Defiance V puts in a reasonable showing. The CPU is allowed to get quite warm before throttling, however whilst performance is largely stable, the fans get quite loud while venting a lot of hot air, and the chassis itself becomes warm. The area around the F8 key in particular gets toasty, registering 46ºC at the surface after 15 minutes of gameplay.
