A 512GB Samsung SM981 M.2 SSD should be delivering four-digit sequential speeds, and we're puzzled as to why the drive in our review sample is reading at only 886MB/s. Such numbers are hardly slow, yet all signs suggest that throttling isn't limited to the CPU alone.
