Benchmarks: Temperature and Noise

Taming a Core i7-8750H CPU and GeForce GTX 1070 GPU in a 15.6in form factor is easier said than done, and the numbers confirm that AAS is more than just a neat party trick. Do note that while other laptops show a lower average temperature for the Core i7-8750H, this is due to throttling rather than thermal performance.

Cooling is ultimately ROG Zephyrus M's strongest attribute, however there is a caveat in terms of noise. The internal fans are almost always audible, and though the AAS opening helps let in cool air, it also allows noise to slip out, resulting in a laptop that is quite loud when the going gets tough.
