The Asus ROG Zephyrus M, Gigabyte Aero 15X and Scan 3XS LG15 Vengeance Pro are all outfitted with the Core i7-8750H, yet benchmark results in the multi-threaded workloads reveal a noticeable gap during real-world workloads.
Credit where it's due, the Active Aerodynamic System on Zephyrus M is working a treat, with the rear opening pulling enough cool air to keep the Core i7 chip running at higher than average speeds throughout our tests. It isn't quite a no-throttle result - CPU frequency did occasionally fall below 3.5GHz across all cores during the demanding Handbrake test - yet Asus does better than anyone else at maintaining peak speeds.
