Current price tags for the eight laptops on show range from £620 for the Asus VivoBook S15 to £2,000 for the Gigabyte Aero 15X. It is no surprise to see the former system's low-power 7th Gen Core i5-7200U slotting in at the bottom of the CPU charts, but don't be fooled by the comparative gap - VivoBook S15 might not excel at heavily threaded workloads, yet it remains nippy and responsive during everyday use.
