But is the £1,499 Surface Book 2 quick enough? With the CPU struggling to maintain top speed at all times, the base 13.5in specification doesn't quite meet our expectations of a perceived performance powerhouse. It is by no means slow, but a premium chassis as well crafted as this is crying out for a quad-core 8th Gen chip.
