Benchmarks: CPU
We know from our time testing desktop Ryzen processors that AMD's latest architecture is a tale of two sides. Intel retains a healthy advantage in terms of instructions per clock - hence the superiority in single-threaded benchmark such as PiFast - but AMD's willingness to pile in more cores and threads turns the tables in Cinebench and Handbrake.
If your workload is able to task all 16 threads, the ROG Strix GL702ZC has massive potential, and the laptop appears to cope with the 65W chip. Our logs reveal that the processor didn't stray from 3.2GHz across all cores during these tests.
