Canopus ProCoder v1.50, Kribibench and Fillrate

Canopus ProCoder v1.50

ProCoder uses Canopus' transcoding engine to convert digital video and audio files between formats. You can input a source file and output any number of output files in any number of the supported formats. For our test, we convert a 40MiB MPEG2 AV clip to WMV9 format with cropping and downsampling.

ProCoder v1.50

Due to a faster disk subsystem and more basic platform performance, the HEXUS system is the faster of the two.

Kribibench v1.1

Kribi tests basic platform performance.

Kribibench v1.1

The SavRow system is significantly slower than the desktop competitor system. The 3.6GHz system is performance as a 3.4 or 3.2GHz version of the HEXUS desktop system would, due to memory subsystem differences.

Fillrate

3DMark05 measures fillrate for both graphics setups.

Fillrate

The higher core speed of the desktop Quadro makes itself known in the results. Both are within 98% of peak in this test, using Direct3D 9.
