Matching the GPU to a laptop's available display resolution is an important consideration, and Aorus appears to have chosen well with an overclocked GeForce GTX 1070. 3DMark scores are healthy across the board and so too is a 98.7 per cent pass rate in the Time Spy Stress Test.
There's enough horsepower to deliver buttery smooth gameplay. The £2,500 Aorus X7 v7 configuration can comfortably deliver in excess of 60 frames per second at the native QHD resolution, and with the added benefits of 120Hz G-Sync and a 5ms response time, the laptop is ultimately a fun place to game.
