Benchmarks: Power Draw and Battery Life

Wanting your 17.3in gaming laptop to double as a day-to-day workhorse? The GL702VM may not be the best fit due to limited battery life. Our standard test entails looping a high-definition video until the laptop succumbs to hibernation, and the Asus machine managed to keep going for less than four-and-a-half hours. Not a great return, but not a great surprise, either, given that G-Sync has ruled out the use of Optimus.
