The latest instalment in the Gears of War series delivers heart-stopping action and the developers at The Coalition deserve genuine credit for proving that high-profile ports can be every bit as stunning as their console counterparts, if not more so.
Gears of War 4 is another recent addition to our suite. Performance at FHD and QHD resolutions is excellent, but 4K UHD using the Ultra-quality preset is hard work. None of the GPUs manage 60fps at the most extreme resolution, though the Inno3D is closest to the mark. It is, on average across resolutions, up to 10 per cent quicker than the Founders Edition.
