The latest instalment in the Gears of War series delivers heart-stopping action and the developers at The Coalition deserve genuine credit for proving that high-profile ports can be every bit as stunning as their console counterparts, if not more so.
Gears of War 4 looks fantastic on PC when using ultra settings. It's also relatively easy work for these high-end GPUs. What's as impressive is that the minimum framerate remains strong at all times. There's not much better than blasting away at 4K ultra.
Our testing logs showed the sample Asus card ran at a core boost speed of between 1,800MHz and 1,830MHz in each title. This is on the lower end of the partner-overclocked scale, mind, but still fast enough to hammer the Fury X.
