The latest instalment in the Gears of War series delivers heart-stopping action and the developers at The Coalition deserve genuine credit for proving that high-profile ports can be every bit as stunning as their console counterparts, if not more so.
Do remember that your choice of game can have a sizeable impact on card performance. GeForce GTX 1050 manages to edge out the Radeon RX 460 in Gears of War 4, though there isn't a lot in it and the gap is reduced when using the memory-intensive ultra preset.
