Given that both Radeon HD 2900 XTs operate at identical frequencies of 743/1656 for core and memory, the very slight benchmark differences can be attributed to a driver and subsystem change. However, the increase is barely perceptible, translating to slower-than GeForce 8800 GTS 640 performance across our range of resolutions.
