Half-Life 2
We now revisit Valve's Half-Life 2, focusing on our usual HEXUS timedemo created using one of the prison levels.

High resolution performance has clearly increased a lot since CATALYST 4.11, but while CATALYST 4.10 holds an advantage at 1280x1024, there isn't much to tell between 4.10 and 4.12 when it comes to 1600x1200.

Things become somewhat stranger with AA and AF enabled, as CATALYST 4.10 shows itself to be the fastest performing driver here until we reach 1600x1200, where all three sets offer basically equal performance. I checked for any rendering errors which could account for this performance difference, but could see nothing obvious with the naked eye, and yet these results were repeatable on my test system.
