Fallout 4

Homepage: fallout4.com | Publisher: Bethesda Softworks | Developer: Bethesda Game Studios

Introduced as the fifth major entry in the series, Fallout 4 takes place in post-apocalyptic Boston in the year 2287, 210 years after a Nuclear war. Not the most uplifting environment, but there are plenty of open environments to explore and the visuals, especially on PC, are at times dazzling.

Solid at QHD. The question then arises, appreciating the near-identical scores of the two Nitro cards, whether there's an unseen performance penalty for using 4GB instead of 8GB. This penalty can take the form of super-slow frames at the worst end of the spectrum.

We're able to calculate the 99th percentile of frames, meaning the time taken to produce the worst one per cent. This is handy for pinpointing whether framebuffer limitations are coming into play. Using this methodology and taking the playable QHD resolution into account, there's no untoward, extra slowness for the 4GB card thus far.
