Power, Temperature and Noise

Backing-up the in-game performance results and substantiating the boost frequencies we're seeing, the Super JetStream's power consumption closely resembles the Founders Edition.

And yep, the card runs very, very cool. Our logs do show that core frequency starts at just over 2,000MHz but starts to dip as soon as temperature reaches 55ºC. A surprisingly aggressive cooling profile.

There's an inevitable downside to keeping core temperature so low. Palit's fans are quick to spin-up to speeds in excess of 1,500rpm, making this one of the most vocal GTX 1060s we've tested. It isn't excessively noisy, but you can hear it clearly and we'd like to see Palit strike a better balance between temperature and noise.
