Awesome adventure, mind-boggling puzzles, intense action and breathtaking landscapes. We all know what to expect when Lara Croft sets out on a new mission, and Rise of the Tomb Raider is arguably one of the finest instalments in this hugely popular series.
Another DX12 title turns the tide once again in favour of the green team. GTX 1060 FE gets reasonably close to an overclocked GTX 980, and is up to 20 per cent faster than the also-reference RX 480 at the lower resolutions.
We can say that GTX 1060's performance never falls too far from the minimum quoted in the regular QHD graph. The 99the percentile result is a better illustration of what the real, perceivable minimum is, so GTX 1060 gets a solid pass in Rise of the Tomb Raider.
