Once more, the 8600GTS-based cards are struggling, their DX9 counterparts once again taking a significant advantage.
In the HDR test, the 8600GTS cards are able to close the gap a little but are still lagging behind. However, this does suggest that as more advanced rendering techniques are introduced, the 8600 cards could start to match the 7900GS and X1950Pro.
