The 2013 Tomb Raider reboot has received critical acclaim and, with the aid of Crystal Dynamics' game engine, helps bring Lara Croft to life with stunning character models and believable worlds. We run a 45-second benchmark using the Ultra-quality preset.
Remember to consider how much GPU power you actually need. Sure, a £600 solution is nice if you've got the cash, but spreading the funds around is crucial to a well-rounded build, and unless you're gaming at 4K, a liquid-cooled GTX 980 Ti could be deemed overkill for most. Still, for benchmarking purposes, it's nice to be able to sail past 60 fps at 3,840x2,160.
